About Timothy Harper

Tim remembered at a young age that there was more to this existence than met the eye. Born into a family of diverse origin, Tim was fortunate to spent his early years travelling and connecting with many cultures around the world. During his university years in the UK, whilst studying a BA in Sociology with a focus on shamanic practices, he had a yearning to know more than his vessel, both psychic and corporeal, was capable of bearing. His reality cracked and he was delivered a stern warning and experience from Spirit that left him in a state of unbearable fragility and weakness. In hindsight it was a profound gift demanding greater humility, patience, discipline and respect towards the mysteries of life.

This is when his conscious journeying really began. He was drawn to the work of mystic and psychologist, CG. Jung, whose psychology became a lifeline, an anchor point in the turbulent seas of the collective and personal unconscious. Jung’s approach to the unconscious gave him a language and scaffolding in which to understand the depths of existence, where he could begin to grapple with some of the great paradoxes by holding the tension between seemingly irreconcilable opposites, such as darkness and light. This gradual discovery, coupled with an unwavering dedication to remembering and working with his dreams, eventuated in a post-graduate qualification in Transpersonal Psychology in Melbourne Australia which included Jungian Psychology, Family Constellations, Humanistic Psychology and Shamanic Practices. Concurrently he also underwent a five year long initiation and descent into the underworld with a renowned Zurich trained Jungian Analyst and Astrologer which simultaneously served as informal training in the arts of dream work and depth psychology.

But the journey was only just beginning, whilst still undergoing analysis, marriage, children and family life followed suit and filled his cup further. During this period Tim began his working life as a Social Worker. Initially working with Disability and then moving over to Family and Youth Services with a focus on Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol, both in a counselling and supervisory role. Whilst the work was meaningful and at times rewarding, Tim slowly but surely began to feel disillusioned with the systemic inability of the service providers to effectuate deep and long-lasting change, feeling a void in the delivery of care that was simply not being addressed. Concurrently he also underwent further training in a number of energetic healing modalities that expanded his understanding of the healing arts further.

Arrive 2020, a time of great collective change and upheaval, the Spirit called in a way hitherto unaccustomed to. Over the next ten months, whilst Tim was facilitating a bi-weekly silent meditation group, he underwent a profound spiritual awakening, the centre of which lasted exactly 3 days and 3 nights. During this brief but enlightening period Tim experienced a spiritual baptism where he was immersed into the All That Is and healed on a most fundamental level. Renewed, Tim now remembered his divine origin and task; realising the need to extend his true service to the world.
